Heavy Equipment Truck Driver/HaulerSRC Construction is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Heavy Equipment Truck Driver/Hauler to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to support residential and commercial construction projects. This role requires attention to safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship while working closely with site supervisors and other construction team members.Key responsibilities include:Operating excavators, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, skid steers, and other heavy equipment.Performing excavation, grading, trenching, site preparation, demolition, and underground utility work.Reading blueprints, grade stakes, and site plans.Assessing project scope, developing sequence of construction.Completing daily equipment inspections and reporting maintenance needs.Following OSHA regulations and company safety policies.Working closely with supervisors and crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently.Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operating experience with hauling.Class A CDL preferred, Class B required.Experience with site utilities, excavation, grading, and demolition required.Ability to read construction plans and work safely around underground utilities.GPS/laser-guided equipment experience is a plus.Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.Schedule:Monday-FridayDay Shift (8-10 hour shifts)Overtime and weekends as neededAbout SRC Construction: SRC Construction, a Carabetta company based in Meriden, CT, delivers high-quality construction services supporting residential and community development projects across the region.
