If you are interested in pursuing a rewarding career, we invite you to review our opportunities!Job Description SummaryScaffold E&D CarpenterAre you seeking an entrepreneurial, empowering workplace that allows you to:Develop a career trackLeverage your current skills in a challenging roleWork with an incredible team of peopleSunbelt Rentals-the fastest growing rental business in North America-is seeking a Scaffold E&D Carpenter.Assist in the stacking and counting of scaffolding materials being received on the job site or being shipped from the job site, along with preparing material to be shippedAssist the Lead Carpenter and/or Foreman by acting as a mentor and coach to the E/D Helpers 1 and 2 to aid in their developmentEducation or experience that prepares you for success:Some trade school preferred but not requiredScaffold E/D Helper 2 for a minimum of 1 year or approved equivalent experienceAbility to work comfortably and safely at considerable heightsBilingual a plusKnowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:Knowledge and use of various types of scaffolding materialsMust be able to erect and dismantle scaffolding under the supervision of the Foreman and/or Lead CarpenterMust have a general knowledge of the different types and sizes of scaffolding materials being usedMust have the proper toolsThe physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
