Radiology - Interventional Physician

Job Title: Locum Physician - Radiology - Interventional Join the dedicated team at a leading healthcare facility in the vibrant city of Lansing, Michigan. This hospital-based practice is seeking a full-time, Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist to be part of a dynamic group consisting of three physicians and two advanced practice providers. The position offers a day-shift schedule with every third weekday and weekend on call coverage. The facility is well-equipped and supports a diverse range of procedures, serving a primarily adult patient demographic with a focus on geriatric care. Job Responsibilities: Perform interventional procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and UFE. Handle additional cases in ortho, gyn, and urology as needed. Provide hospital-based interventional radiology services with an average of 8 cases per day. Participate in Q3 call rotations managing weekday and weekend calls. Collaborate effectively with a team of healthcare professionals including APPs and radiologists. Maintain high standards of patient care and documentation in line with hospital protocols. Qualifications: Board Certified in Interventional Radiology (Required) Active State Medical License in Michigan (Required - IMLC or compact license not accepted) BLS & ACLS Certifications (Required) Local provider preferred with a willingness to cover 2+ weeks of shifts monthly.
