Registered Nurse – PACU/Pre-Post Op Registered Nurse (RN) – Days – 9:00 AM–9:00 PM – Relocation Candidates Welcome Location: Great Falls, MT Duration: 13 Weeks Specialty: PACU/Pre-Post Op Registered Nurse (RN) Shift Time: Days – 9:00 AM–9:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week Start: 9/25/2026 We are seeking an experienced PACU/Pre-Post Op Registered Nurse (RN) to join a hospital in Great Falls, MT. In this role, you will provide expert perianesthesia nursing care across pre-operative preparation, post-anesthesia recovery, and Phase II discharge readiness. You will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary surgical team dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for surgical or procedural interventions • Monitor patients emerging from anesthesia, assessing airway patency, hemodynamic stability, and level of consciousness • Administer analgesics, antiemetics, and other post-operative medications per physician orders and unit protocols • Identify and respond promptly to post-anesthesia complications such as respiratory depression, hypotension, or agitation • Document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the electronic health record • Educate patients and families on post-operative care instructions and discharge criteria • Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and surgical team members to ensure seamless transitions of care ✅ Requirements • Active MT or Compact RN license • BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications • 3+ years of PACU/Pre-Post Op Registered Nurse (RN) experience Pay Pay range: $2,480 to $2,600 per week. Travel PACU/Pre-Post Op RN package: up to $2,600/week (40 hours) = $34/hour taxable + up to $1,240/week in travel reimbursements if eligible under IRS tax-home and expense rules. Local package: $62/hour fully taxable ($2,480/week for 40 hours). Overtime paid in accordance with applicable wage-and-hour laws and the assignment agreement. Actual compensation varies based on hours worked, assignment terms and travel reimbursement eligibility.
