Job Description

Job Title: Forklift OperatorJob Summary:We are seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other equipment to move materials around our facilities in a safe and efficient manner. This position plays a key role in maintaining smooth warehouse operations and supporting our logistics and supply chain processes.Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport materials.
• Move stock to and from loading docks, storage areas, and delivery vehicles.
• Ensure accurate documentation of inventory movements.
• Inspect machinery daily and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Comply with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as picking, packing, and labeling products.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift certification/license (or willingness to obtain one).
• Proven experience as a forklift operator (typically 1-2 years preferred).
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime or weekends if required.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., WMS).
• Knowledge of various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks).

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced warehouse or industrial setting.
• Exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.
• Temp to Hire starting at $16.00
