Details Work in the Birth Care Center, a 20-bed unit staffed by RNs, CNC/charge nurses, scrub techs, and desk clerks Patient ratios of 3-4:1 for post-partum couplets and 1-2:1 for laboring patients Performs C-sections, inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, Doppler monitoring, and circulating for C-sections Uses Welch Allyn vitals machines, CPN monitors, point-of-care glucose monitoring, and Monica Novii telemetry Documents in Meditech/CPN EMR Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 13-week assignment length Requirements Active KS or compact RN license required Minimum 1 year of current experience as an L&D RN Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN (or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring) certifications required Postpartum and high-risk LDR experience preferred US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provides direct patient care for laboring, postpartum, and surgical obstetric patients Must follow HCA ICARE standards of behavior Candidates with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and patient care focus preferred Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel position American Traveler Job ID P-764956.
