Job Description We are seeking a part‑time versatile and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Veterinary Assistant/Customer Service Representative Float. This unique position requires a dynamic individual who is comfortable working both in a clinical setting assisting veterinarians and in a front‑desk role providing exceptional customer service to our clients. Key Responsibilities Assist veterinarians and other veterinary assistants with animal handling, restraint, and medical procedures. Perform routine laboratory procedures and diagnostic tests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suite. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and addressing client inquiries. Process payments and accurately maintain financial records. Educate clients on various topics including preventative care, medication administration, and general pet wellness. Handle client concerns and inquiries with professionalism and empathy. Qualifications Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members. Comfortable handling animals of various sizes and temperaments. Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
