Subcontracts Manager

Overview Amyx is seeking to hire a Subcontracts Manager to support our corprorate headquarters in Reston, Va in a hybrid capacity. Responsibilities Reporting to the Vice President of Contracts & Procurement the role includes:Subcontract AdministrationOwn the full pre- and post-award life cycle for a diverse portfolio of contract types, including FFP, T&M, LH, CR, IDIQ, BPA, and BOAs.Interpret complex contract terms and identify obligations, risks, and action items translating regulatory language into clear guidance for program teams.Drive subcontract administration from award through closeout, keeping program teams on track and in compliance at every stage.Spot compliance gaps early and communicate them to the program teams clearly before they become issues for clients or their primes.Manage daily subcontract activities across multiple portfolios, balancing competing priorities while maintaining rigorous compliance with FAR, DFARS, and client-specific requirements.Maintain well-organized, CPSR-ready subcontract files and drive open action items to closure without explicit direction.Execute subcontract closeout processes in compliance with contractual terms and federal requirements.CPSR & Purchasing ComplianceReview purchase orders and subcontracting instruments for CPSR compliance, flagging deficiencies and supporting corrective actions.Lead CPSR preparation engagements by conducting thorough gap assessments of purchasing system documentation, policies, and subcontract files against current DCMA evaluation criteria.Sustain a CPSR-ready purchasing system, ensuring consistent documentation of consent thresholds, competition rationale, source selection justifications, and subcontract file contents.Conduct CPSR file reviews, in accordance with Amyx policy and procedures, prior to formal government audits, identifying deficiencies and coaching procurement staff on corrective actions.Support ongoing CPSR administration by monitoring purchasing system health, tracking compliance trends, and advising on individual transaction decisions.Update purchasing system manuals, procurement policies, and procedures to align with DFARS View phone number on click.appcast.io, and applicable agency supplements.Ensure subcontract files are complete and audit-ready with thorough documentation of competition, price analysis, and negotiations.Stay current on regulatory changes, industry developments, and Amyx internal practices through ongoing training and professional developmentServe as a trusted advisor to program teams on contract requirements, regulatory obligations, and procurement best practices.Must have the ability to communicate accurate information Qualifications Experience & Education Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.7+ years of professional experience with a federal government contractor covering the following:4 years of on-point FAR/DFARS based contracts or revenue generating subcontracts experience working for a government contractor or within a government contracting division.3-4 years of experience managing subcontracts or major vendor purchases within a CPSR compliant system.Proven experience working within an approved and adequate purchasing system (CPSR) is required.Strong communication and analytical skills.Familiarity with LLMs (i.e. Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) and other industry tools (i.e. SharePoint, Costpoint, etc.)CFCM or CPCM certification (preferred but not required)Benefits include:Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans (PPO & HSA options available)Flexible Spending Accounts (Health Care & Dependent Care FSA)Health Savings Account (HSA)401(k) with matching contributionsRothQualified Transportation Expense with matching contributionsShort Term DisabilityLong Term DisabilityLife and Accidental Death & DismembermentBasic & Voluntary Life InsuranceWellness ProgramPTO11 HolidaysProfessional Development ReimbursementSalary- 100-150k Please contact View email address on click.appcast.io with any questions!Amyx is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
