Description American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring 2+ years of specialty experience and ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications. Details Work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week, with schedule varying 7a-7:30p No on-call requirements Requirements Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty required Additional Information Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) plus 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve) Former perm staff returning as non-local travelers must have a 2-year break in service RTO requests must be submitted upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
