Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Job

Respiratory Therapist Position

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board
• One year experience as an RRT
• BLS certification
• 3+ years of Respiratory Therapy experience
• RRT credential required
• NRP required for NICU
• Experience in a tertiary teaching hospital
• Level 1 trauma experience
• Experience in acute care pediatrics, emergency department, adult acute care, and critical care
• Experience with Drager V500 and VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30 and V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm
• Experience with Epic EMR

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900-0730
• Every other weekend required
• Call rotation required, approximately one call shift per month
• Call requirement includes 2 hours for the oncoming shift
• Float requirements include some NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, emergency department, adult acute care, and critical care
