Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our Special Education Program Mental Health Team in El Dorado, Kansas. This role operates within a flexible, remote setup, primarily serving our Community Health Clinic. Our team works collaboratively, utilizing telehealth technologies to connect with students, parents, and educational staff across various settings. A typical workweek runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts, weekends, and on-call availability for emergencies, ensuring that we remain accessible for those in need.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, providing a detailed understanding of each child's unique needs and challenges.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that target emotional well-being, mental health, and academic integration, ensuring they align with educational goals.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to specific conditions such as ASD, ADHD, and trauma, using both individual and group therapy formats.
\n
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, focusing on building coping strategies and emotional regulation skills among students.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including educators, speech and occupational therapists, to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and immediate care protocols.
\n
• Educate students and families about mental health issues, creating an open dialogue about resources and support systems available.
\n
• Maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards through diligent documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings and case conferences, contributing to continuous professional development and peer support.
\n
• Stay informed about current mental health laws, regulations, and best practices to provide the highest quality of care.

This position focuses primarily on students with various special needs, including but not limited to those with autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, and emotional or behavioral challenges. You will play a vital role in shaping their educational experience, fostering resilience, and promoting personal growth.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• A current and valid LCSW license in the state of Kansas.
\n
• At least two years of post-licensure experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting.
\n
• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and trauma-informed care.
\n
• Proficiency in mental health assessments, diagnosis formulation, and treatment planning.
\n
• Experience delivering both individual and group therapy, employing diverse therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills to facilitate collaboration with a range of professionals and families.
\n
• Ability to maintain professionalism and ethical standards in all interactions.
\n
• Competence with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills to support documentation and communication tasks.

• Experience in a school-based mental health program or a community mental health setting relating to children and families.
\n
• Familiarity with psychoeducational assessments and individualized education program (IEP) processes.
\n
• Knowledge of community resources for mental health support and special education.
\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we provide:
