Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Operate long-haul dry van freight nationwide while joining HMD’s driver-focused OTR team in Glen Burnie, MD. Run consistent interstate lanes, manage pickups and on-time deliveries, and keep clear communication with dispatch. HMD supplies modern tractors (under 3 years) equipped with APUs, inverters and sleepers, plus reliable in-house maintenance, pay starting at 65¢/mi (avg ~2,500 mi/wk) and safety/inspection/referral bonuses.

Your Responsibilities:

• Safely operate assigned tractor-trailer on long-haul routes and follow federal HOS and ELD protocols.
• Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip records.
• Work with dispatch to optimize routing and delivery timing.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months verifiable OTR experience.
• Professional attitude and strong safety focus.
