Warehouse Operations Supervisor

The position will be based in Methuen, MA. Responsibilities Processes store returns and returns to vendors using proper Company policies. Coordinates with Inventory Control associates regarding slotting, product rotation and space allocation. Conducts daily crew meeting to discuss safety, productivity and accuracy. Communicates with Transportation on the flow and receipt of backhauls. Supervises scheduling of inbound load appointments. Responsible for, sign for, sort and distribute inbound, overnight carrier and mail service deliveries. Walks warehouse daily, with Superintendent, to ensure that safety, security, sanitation and pest control codes, laws, and policies and government regulations are maintained. Ensures the most economical and efficient use of equipment and personnel to accomplish assigned work. Qualifications Strong general knowledge of shipping and warehouse operations, with prior supervisory experience preferred. Effective leadership and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret computerized reports. Analytical skills and attention to detail.li> Basic computer proficiency; experience with word processing and spreadsheets is helpful.
