Location: New York, NY

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 4x10-Hour Shift (07:00 - 17:30) with rotating weekend coverage and on-call responsibilities.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced OR RN Circulator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a New York nursing license and significant experience in an acute care setting, specifically in a circulating position. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures while ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in a variety of surgical procedures including general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and more.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and utilize the universal protocol.
• Administer blood products and manage infection control.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize Epic for charting and documentation of patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current NY nursing license (required in hand to submit).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an OR RN, preferably in a circulating role.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Epic charting experience is mandatory.
• First-time travelers are accepted, provided they meet the experience criteria.
