Overview
MRI Technologist, Radiology (MRI) — Burlington, VT, United States. Start date 11/02/2026. Travel assignment lasting 16 weeks. Weekly pay range: $3,507–$3,645 per week. Shift: 8-hour evenings (5x8). Setting: hospital. This role requires MRI-specific certification and licensure, including MR advanced credentials, and involves backfill in a multi-site imaging department.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations across inpatient and outpatient imaging workflows, following approved protocols and ensuring diagnostic image quality.
- Screen patients for MRI safety, monitor patients during procedures, and provide comfort and assistance as needed.
- Set up and operate MRI equipment, adjust sequences, optimize coils, and ensure high-quality, clinically suitable images.
- Verify patient identity, position patients appropriately, document procedures, and communicate findings to radiologists; document in the EMR.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and department policies; support unit operations and equipment readiness.

Requirements
- Active ARRT or ARMRIT MRI licensure with MR advanced licensure or equivalent (license verification as applicable)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience
- Philips MRI system experience required
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
- Teaching hospital experience required; prior travel experience preferred
