Registered Nurse I PCU

Full‑time night shift Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit, Muskogee Campus. The RN will provide bedside nursing care to patients on a 36‑hour week, 12‑hour shifts, including weekends and holidays per department schedule. Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Document nursing steps and use proper medical terminology. Address patient problems, progress toward goals, and facilitate discharge with appropriate referrals and education. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support unit/hospital goals through continuous improvement and educational activities. Coordinate and support activities of others without direct supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications Minimum education: Complete basic professional curricula of an accredited school of nursing. Licensure: Valid multi‑state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse license. Work experience: 0 to 6 months related experience. Knowledge, skills and abilities: Working knowledge of general disease state management, bio‑psychosocial model, clinical pathways, effective communication, organization, prioritization, and detail orientation.
