Job Summary:
A Neuro Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Lynchburg, Virginia. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts in a neuro IMCU setting, providing specialized patient care for a diverse population including neuro, cardiac, and medical-surgical patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

• Float: No (float rotation may be required)
• Required Qualifications: Active Virginia or Compact license required upon start; minimum of 2 years of experience in neuro IMCU or similar; Cerner experience preferred; must have or be able to obtain a VA license; charge experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with charge responsibilities; Cerner electronic medical record system familiarity.
• Additional Information: Charge responsibility may be required, and the RN will receive the appropriate pay differential and training. A block schedule can no longer be accommodated but weekend-only requests will be considered. The client can cancel the assignment up to 36 hours prior due to census fluctuations.
• Submission Requirements: Work history with at least 2 years of experience; explanation of all work gaps over 90 days; Skills Checklist; copy of Nursys license; all requested time off must be included in the submission packet.
• Vaccinations: Covid-19 and Flu vaccines are required.
