Key Responsibilities of the RN - NICU- Neonatal Intensive Care

• Provide specialized care for Level III or IV NICU patients
• Perform PIV and feeding tube insertions, lab draws, straight catheterizations, and central line management
• Manage airway/respiratory care in collaboration with the RRT
• Assist with intubation, surfactant administration, and central line and chest tube placements

Requirements of the RN - NICU- Neonatal Intensive Care

• Valid BLS, NRP, STABLE certifications
• A minimum of one-year NICU nursing experience
• Proficiency with Level III or IV NICU skillset
