SEF Warehouse WorkerVP Racing in Huntingdon, TN seeks to fill the role of SEF Warehouse Worker. This is a production role with a four (4) 10-hr days schedule. The ideal candidate will have some production/assembly experience, demonstrate good attendance practices, and possess skills such as attention to detail and the ability to work in both team-centered and independent environments. Please see further details below:SHIFT: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:45 PM, 45-minute lunch break. Off Friday - Sunday.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders.Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.Filling requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distributes items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.Assisting in counting of physical inventory.May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.Sweeping, dusting, and mopping.Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.Wearing the proper safety equipment.Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.These statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work to be performed and are not intended to be an all-inclusive list of responsibilities and duties.RequirementsJob Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to maintain safe work environments.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Education and Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.HAZMAT training a plus.Physical Demands:Requires heavy lifting.Requires standing for 8-10 hours per dayRequires kneeling/squatting for 4-6 hours per dayRequires bending/stooping for 4-6 hours per dayRequires use of a pallet jack to move palletized containers. Palletized containers weigh about 1,296 lbs.Requires lifting and carrying objects that weigh between 36-44 lbs. from 2-4 hours per day.
