Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in inpatient and outpatient settings and craft personalized treatment regimens
• Implement physical therapy interventions focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to maximize patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and home exercise programs
• Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in accordance with facility standards and regulations
• Engage in interdisciplinary rounds and team conferences to ensure cohesive and coordinated care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or related degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) valued but not essential
