Heavy Equipment Operator

Join our team as a Heavy Equipment Operator! Are you passionate about operating state-of-the-art machinery and contributing to impactful construction projects? Byard Construction, LLC is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator who will have the opportunity to operate a variety of the latest heavy equipment, doing so in a safe and effective manner to ensure timely completion of our mass excavation, utility, and paving projects. We are looking for long-term candidates who are eager to grow with our company and take advantage of future advancement opportunities. What You’ll Do: Operate a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, wheel loaders, haulers, skid-steers, sweepers, trenchers, and curb/asphalt-related equipment. Understand and interpret grades, elevations, sketches, and construction plans. Follow safety regulations and ensure a safe work environment. Conduct daily equipment checks and maintenance. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project success. Work in various weather conditions and handle physical tasks, including lifting, pushing, and pulling over 50 lbs.
