2027 Injection Device Development Intern (Undergraduate)

AbbVie seeks an undergraduate engineering intern for summer 2027 to support commercial development of injection delivery devices, including prefilled syringes and autoinjectors. The role involves process improvement initiatives, engineering specifications, technical planning, and lab-based activities within the Operations PDS&T team.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial development activities for injection device portfolio including prefilled syringes and autoinjectors
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and development of engineering specifications
• Contribute to technical timeline creation and lab-based activities
• Gain exposure to commercial development and broader business context

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Bachelor's degree program in Engineering or related field
• Enrolled in university for at least one semester after internship end date
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Sound understanding of mathematics, calculus, engineering mechanics, and physics
• Familiarity with basic office software such as Excel
