OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Roanoke, VA by HMD Trucking

Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Based in Roanoke, VA, this position covers nationwide dry van freight on dependable OTR routes. Expect long-haul operations that prioritize safety, clean inspections, and teamwork with a supportive dispatch and maintenance organization.

Compensation & Equipment:

• Pay from 65 CPM with typical weekly miles near 2,500 and incentive bonuses for safe driving and referrals.
• Fleet of late-model tractors (under three years) equipped with APUs, inverters and sleepers; strong in-house maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre/post-trip checks, secure freight, and maintain accurate logs.
• Uphold delivery schedules and safety standards.

Requirements:

• CDL-A and minimum 12 months verifiable experience.
