You’ll design and optimize electrical solutions that integrate automation, real-time monitoring, and advanced energy storage to improve efficiency and reliability. Collaborating across teams, you’ll anticipate future needs, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise will shape strategies that deliver sustainable, cutting-edge power solutions for long-term growth.Responsibilities/Expectations:Leads the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems and power distribution networks supporting critical infrastructure such as pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilitiesChampions the integration of advanced technologies including automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage to enhance system performance and reduce operational costsImplements robust safety measures such as arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems to protect personnel and ensure infrastructure reliabilityGuides and mentors all as the subject matter expert around technical expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts for both new construction and upgrades to existing facilitiesManages complex engineering projects from concept to completion ensuring alignment with business goals timelines and budget constraintsEnsures compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and regulatory standards across electrical systems and project executionCollaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions that meet internal and external customer needsMentors and supports the development of junior engineers fostering technical growth knowledge sharing and a culture of continuous improvementOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:III: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university from an ABET accredited college or university and four (4) years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or related industry.Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.Preferred: Master’s degree in Electrical EngineeringSenior: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university from an ABET accredited college or university and eight (8) years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or related industry.Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.Preferred: Master’s degree in electrical engineering.StaffRequired: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university from an ABET accredited college or university and fifteen (15) years engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or related industry.Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.Preferred: Master’s degree in Electrical EngineeringJob Requirements: Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as amain priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skillsProficient in reviewing arc flash studies, implementing improvements, and applying electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE)Preferred: Experience with PLCsPreferred: Project Management experiencePreferred: Experience working in Preliminary-Front End Engineering and Design (Pre-FEED), Front End Engineering Design (FEED), or Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) of small to medium facility projectsPreferred: Proficiency in designing, and implementing, Instrumentation systems, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systemsWhy Tulsa?
