Key Responsibilities of the Medical Physicist

• Performing radiation therapy planning and dose calculations
• Ensuring optimal functionality of radiological equipment
• Conducting regular safety tests and quality assurance procedures
• Collaborating with oncologists and radiation therapists for patient treatment
• Documenting and maintaining patient records accurately

Requirements of the Medical Physicist

• A Master's Degree in Medical Physics or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Radiation Oncology
• Valid AHA BLS certification
• ABR certified or eligibility status
