Field Reimbursement Manager: East Coast

Zimmer Biomet seeks a Field Reimbursement Manager to serve as a strategic resource for healthcare providers navigating reimbursement for an innovative cryotherapy pain management technology. The remote, East Coast-based role involves delivering compliant reimbursement education, addressing access barriers, and providing field insights to inform market strategy.
Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate, compliant reimbursement education to healthcare providers, hospitals, and billing professionals
- Support customers in understanding coding, claims submission, payer adjudication, and payment pathways
- Identify and help resolve reimbursement barriers including denials, underpayments, and coverage issues
- Monitor CMS and commercial payer policy changes and communicate material implications to stakeholders
- Build relationships with key provider stakeholders and provide field-based insights for strategic planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 4 years relevant experience, or Associate's degree plus 6 years, or high school diploma plus 8 years
- Deep expertise in medical device reimbursement, CPT/HCPCS coding, payer policy, and claims management
- Demonstrated experience with pain management or procedural medical device technologies
- Strong working knowledge of coding methodologies, APCs, DRGs, and reimbursement processes
- Direct experience engaging physicians, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, coders, and revenue cycle teams
- Ability to analyze complex denials, underpayments, and coverage issues and provide solutions
- CPC, CCS, CPMA, or similar coding/reimbursement certification preferred
