Telemetry Technician Per Diem Variable

Role Summary Telemetry Technician / Monitor Technician at Providence Portland Medical Center is a per‑day, part‑time, variable‑shift position working weekdays and weekends. The MT monitors cardiac telemetry, reports arrhythmias and potentially lethal rhythms to a Registered Nurse per Telemetry Rhythm Notification Guidelines, and may interact directly with physicians regarding cardiac rhythm patterns. Responsibilities Cardiac monitor surveillance for all assigned telemetry units. Report any arrhythmias or potentially lethal rhythms to a Registered Nurse following Telemetry Rhythm Notification Guidelines. Interact directly with physicians regarding interpretation of cardiac rhythm patterns or changes. Required Qualifications National Provider BLS – American Heart Association (upon hire). Preferred Qualifications Experience with cardiac monitoring and interpretation of heart rhythms. Compensation Pay range: $20.00 - $29.08 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
