Eagle Pointe Skilled Nursing center in Orwell, Ohio is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our clinical care team as the Respiratory Director. This full-time position/Part Time/PRN, Day or Night shift, is available for immediate hire and requires experience in long-term care or post-acute settings.  This position will be based out of Eagle Pointe in Orwell and will also cover at Concord Care Center of Hartford and Washington Square Healthcare Center.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of respiratory therapy in geriatric populations and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

• Assess, treat, and manage residents with respiratory conditions and needs

• Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and chest physiotherapy

• Monitor ventilator-dependent residents and adjust settings as needed

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow care protocols

• Educate staff, residents, and families on respiratory care and safety

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility policies

• Current Ohio Respiratory Therapist license – required

• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing – required

• CRT or RRT credential through NBRC – required

• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Must pass background check and drug screening
