Role Description The Ambassador is a Part-time, on-site role based in VA,NJ,PA,SC,NC,TN & MA. Tess is responsible for representing assigned beauty brands within designated retail locations. In this role, the Ambassador engages directly with shoppers to deliver knowledgeable, welcoming product education and personalized recommendations that align with brand standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include demonstrating products, driving sales through consultative service, and supporting in-store events and promotions to increase brand awareness. The Ambassador collaborates with store teams and MI Field Managers to report on sales trends, customer feedback, and merchandising needs, ensuring displays and testers are maintained to a high standard. This role also involves following retailer policies, completing required training, and consistently reinforcing the brand’s message and values on the sales floor. Qualifications Customer-facing and sales skills, including retail selling, client engagement, and consultative service. Brand representation skills, such as product education, in-store event support, and promotional execution. Communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and relationship building with store teams. Organization and reporting skills, including basic sales tracking, attention to detail, and adherence to store and brand guidelines. Interest or experience in the beauty, cosmetics, or skincare industry, with a willingness to learn product knowledge quickly. Ability to work on-site in Store including standing for extended periods and maintaining a professional appearance. Reliable time management, punctuality, and flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
