Our client, a well-established commercial litigation law firm, is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join their civil litigation department in Fort Worth, Texas. This is an in-office position supporting a busy litigation team handling complex, high-volume cases. Do you have 5+ years of litigation experience and thrive in a fast-paced legal environment? The Perks Compensation: $55,000 - $80,000/salary, based on experience Benefits: 401k + 100% matching up to 6%, paid time off, sick pay, health insurance, dental insurance, Aflac, short-term disability (STD), long-term disability (LTD) Special, company-specific perks: No-cost covered parking, cafeteria plan A Day in the Life of the Paralegal In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting attorneys through all phases of complex civil litigation. From organizing case materials to preparing filings and managing deadlines, your work will directly contribute to the firm’s ability to effectively represent regional and national clients. This is a highly collaborative position where precision and efficiency are critical to success. Responsibilities Analyze and organize case documents, pleadings, and discovery materials Prepare charts, logs, spreadsheets, chronologies, and summaries Gather and review facts, evidence, and records Prepare exhibits and documents for filing and production Manage document systems using word processing and spreadsheet applications Review and summarize medical records and other case-related documents Handle electronic filing in state and federal courts Maintain multi-attorney docketing and calendaring systems Support attorneys with trial preparation and complex litigation tasks Requirements and Qualifications 5+ years of litigation experience (commercial or defense litigation preferred) Strong knowledge of Texas litigation procedures Experience supporting complex, multi-party litigation cases Proficiency with e-filing systems and legal software tools Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Experience managing calendars/dockets for multiple attorneys Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support where needed About the Hiring Company Our client is a busy commercial litigation law firm with offices in San Antonio, El Paso, and Fort Worth, Texas.
