Job Description
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position is essential in providing high-quality care to patients in the emergency department. The successful candidate will have a passion for patient care and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
Perform triage and assess patients to determine priorities of care.
Administer medications and provide treatments as prescribed by medical staff.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Monitor and document patient progress and respond to changes in patient conditions.
Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and ongoing care.

Qualifications

Minimum of 12 months of permanent nursing experience in the emergency room specialty.
Valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
Current AHA or American Red Cross certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
TNCC certification is preferred.
Must be available to work every other holiday and manage varying schedules as needed.
Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation is required.

Shift Details

This position involves day shifts, working three 12-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM.
