Role Overview

We are seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join Crown’s construction and development team. This role is responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously from design development, while adapting to evolving priorities and project requirements through construction and close-out.

Operating on the owner/developer side, this position is highly execution‑focused and hands‑on. The Project Manager is responsible for driving day‑to‑day coordination, documentation, and follow‑through—ensuring projects continue to move forward efficiently while maintaining tight control over scope, schedule, and budget—while working with a portfolio that stretches across North America. This role is ideal for someone who is a “self-starter” and thrives on organization, urgency, and attention to detail, and who takes pride in pushing work across the finish line.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects concurrently from planning through completion.
• Coordinate design, entitlement, and consultant processes as prerequisites to construction.
• Communicate regularly with consultants, municipalities, contractors, and internal teams.
• Prepare bid packages, solicit bids, and assist with contractor selection based on scope and pricing.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align schedules, sequencing, and execution.
• Adapt to changing project conditions, requirements and priorities.
• Track day-to-day project progress, identify risks, and escalate issues proactively.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of commercial or industrial construction project management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, take ownership of tasks, and act with urgency.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be available to work full-time in-office at our Warren, Michigan headquarters.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to sites across North America.
