Job Description Audit Partner – Life Sciences Responsibilities Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing assurance and consulting services, impacting clients’ financial statements, profitability and operations. Proactively engage with clients throughout the year to understand business goals and challenges. Develop and implement appropriate testing to assess deficiencies of internal controls and recommend improvements. Manage all fieldwork to ensure quality service and timely delivery of results. Provide financial statement guidance and business recommendations based on testing and information gathered. Deliver business insight through thoughtful review, analysis and discussion. Manage client engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensure client profitability targets are met. Drive continued growth of Baker Tilly’s Life Sciences practice by generating new opportunities, collaborating across service lines and strengthening the trusted advisor position. Network and build strong relationships internally and externally to acquire new clients, projects and revenue. Invest in professional development through firm-wide learning programs and support the growth of team members. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; master’s or advanced degree desirable. CPA required. Eight (8)+ years of experience providing financial statement auditing services in a professional services firm in life sciences. Five (5)+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates. Demonstrated management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project‑management and communication skills. Ability to lead and supervise others, deliver exceptional client service, and demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, ethical knowledge and quality.
