Serves as the KCVAMC Assistant Fisher House Manager (AFHM) and is responsible for assisting in the on-site management, planning, operation, and administrative coordination of the multi-phased lodging program.Skilled in gathering information, organizing and maintaining information or information management systems.Assists in the development and update of informational bulletins, brochures and resident packets.Knowledge of general business/lodging management principles and practices to participate in the development, establishment, and implementation of operational policies.Skill in developing information and communication for use on multiple platforms within and outside Fisher House.Knowledge of VA Web communications policies, guidelines, templates and other graphic publication tools relevant to the social media environment within a VA health care setting.Work Schedule: Monday - FridayCompressed/Flexible: availableTelework: This position may be authorized for telework.
