About the Role:

As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by assisting with meal preparation, food service, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will enable you to effectively support our dietary staff and help us deliver exceptional resident experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, including washing and peeling vegetables, cutting fruit, and cooking food as needed

• Prepare and deliver meals to residents, ensuring that dietary restrictions and preferences are taken into account

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area, adhering to health and safety standards

• Assist with food storage, inventory management, and waste disposal

• Participate in meal service, including plating and serving residents

• Collaborate with dietary staff to ensure smooth meal service operations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience in a food service or dietary setting preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

• Effective communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
