Be among the first 25 applicants Overview Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Ultrasound Technologists to support operations at the San Diego VA Medical Center located at 3350 La Jolla Village Dr, San Diego, CA 92121. Full-time and Per Diem positions with competitive packages are available. Responsibilities Operate sonographic equipment to perform complex examinations, from routine to specialized Review requisitions to ensure patient history and anatomical area match the exam requested; perform examinations including abdominal scans for tumors, cysts, abscesses, hematomas, inflammatory lesions, and organ size and location; evaluate abdominal aorta for aneurysm/dissection; perform chest exams for pleural effusions Conduct neck, carotid artery, leg vein, and arterial examinations Assist Radiologists during invasive procedures and perform gynecological ultrasound exams Perform Doppler measurements to assess blood flow profiles when indicated Use color flow/power Doppler appropriately to evaluate vascular patency and patterns Qualifications Current and valid ARDMS license, licensed in at least two of the following disciplines: Abdomen, OB/GYN, RVT; must have current experience in all three Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Minimum of two years of diagnostic medical sonography experience No sponsorship available Pay Range: $43.43 - $58.00 hourly Physical Requirements: Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during shift Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist Lift up to 20 lbs Carry up to 40 lbs over a reasonable distance Push/pull with 30 lbs of force Additional Information: All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
