This contract position offers the chance to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and to deliver essential speech and language support services from August 24th, 2026, through June 11th, 2027. Featuring a schedule of 35 hours per week (7 hours per day), this role is ideal for those with a passion for educational impact and direct student interaction.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related discipline is required
• Knowledge of evaluation, intervention, and documentation procedures within a school setting
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Empathy, strong communication skills, and a student-centered mindset
• Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations is preferred
• SLPA license is not required in Virginia, but candidates must hold a relevant degree in speech or communication disorders

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work alongside speech-language pathologists to support students’ speech and language development
• Implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals and document progress
• Prepare and utilize therapeutic materials under supervision
• Conduct small group and one-on-one interventions
• Monitor and report on student achievements and challenges
• Foster positive relationships with students, caregivers, and school professionals
