Our Back of House Team Members work together to prepare the fresh, made-from-scratch food our guests love and keep our kitchens clean, organized, and running smoothly. As a Back of House Team Member, you'll be part of the kitchen team that makes the Chuck-A-Rama experience possible. Depending on your shift and where you're needed, you may help prepare ingredients, follow recipes, cook and prepare food, stock workstations, clean kitchen areas, or support other members of the team. It's a great opportunity for someone who likes staying busy, working with their hands, and learning different parts of a restaurant kitchen.No experience? No problem. We'll teach you what you need to know.What You'll DoA typical shift may include:Preparing ingredients and helping make fresh food for the buffetFollowing Chuck-A-Rama recipes and preparation instructionsSetting up and stocking kitchen workstationsHelping cooks and other kitchen team members prepare foodKeeping ingredients, supplies, and equipment organized and ready to useChecking food for quality, freshness, and presentationKeeping kitchen and work areas clean, organized, and sanitizedSafely using kitchen tools and equipmentFollowing food safety, sanitation, and handling proceduresCommunicating with teammates to keep food and supplies moving where they're neededCleaning as you work and helping with end-of-shift dutiesJumping in wherever an extra set of hands is neededWhat We're Looking ForGreat Back of House Team Members understand that teamwork keeps the kitchen moving. We're looking for someone who:Is at least 16 years oldIs dependable and ready to workEnjoys staying active and working in a fast-paced environmentCan follow recipes, instructions, and food preparation proceduresPays attention to quality and detailWorks well as part of a teamCommunicates well with teammatesTakes pride in keeping their workspace clean and organizedIs willing to obtain a Food Handler PermitUnderstands the importance of food safety and sanitationIs comfortable standing, walking, and staying active throughout a shiftIs willing to learn different areas of the kitchen and help wherever neededNo previous restaurant experience is required.
