Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location in Pasadena, TX, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter incidents, and support security-related operations with strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including access points, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, contractors, visitors, and/or deliveries, verifying credentials, following post orders, and reporting discrepancies, damaged barriers, and/or access concerns.
• Support incident reporting and daily operations by preparing logs, noting maintenance or hazard-related concerns, and relaying observations that could impact site procedures, traffic flow, and/or emergency response readiness.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
