Senior Director, Compliance Business Partner

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals seeks a Senior Director of Compliance Business Partner to provide risk-based compliance guidance across commercial and operational activities. The role involves advising stakeholders on healthcare professional engagements, patient support programs, and promotional activities while ensuring alignment with applicable regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Serve as compliance business partner to commercial, patient advocacy, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Review and oversee healthcare professional engagements, advisory boards, patient support programs, and promotional materials
- Advise on business initiatives through application of legal and compliance frameworks
- Support compliance training, monitoring, and investigation activities across the organization
- Participate in governance activities and communicate compliance risks to leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (JD, MBA, CPA) or paralegal certification preferred
- 12+ years of pharmaceutical or life sciences compliance experience
- Demonstrated compliance business partner experience supporting commercial functions
- Strong knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and industry codes
- Experience with healthcare professional engagements, advisory boards, and patient support programs
- Third-party risk management and compliance due diligence experience
Compensation: $254,000 - $311,000 per year
