Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client by conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to client support and resources.
- Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards to ensure accountability and traceability of client progress.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance your skills and stay abreast of the latest developments and best practices in the mental health field.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our client population is incredibly diverse, encompassing individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and substance abuse. As an LPC, you will work closely with clients from all walks of life, providing the support and therapeutic intervention necessary for their healing and growth. Your role is critical in helping them navigate their emotional journeys effectively.
Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.
- A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or telehealth setting.
- Strong understanding of the legal and ethical standards related to counseling practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to connect effectively with a wide range of clients and facilitate open dialogues.
- A proven track record of working collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and relevant application software is essential.
Preferred Experience
Ideal candidates with specialization in family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits
- Our competitive salary range is set between USD 60,000 and 90,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
