Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer Springfield, VA or St Louis, MO. Job Summary Work on a development team, utilizing Agile scrum methodology, responsible for developing and maintaining agency-wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capability deployed across multiple security domains. The PaaS environment supports multiple tenants deploying a myriad of application stacks and data services. Responsibilities O&M of existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments Support OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they come online Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions Support data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack Compile detailed documentation Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline. 5-8 years developer experience Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA Desired Skills Experience deploying and managing RedHat Open Shift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment Experience with Amazon Web Services Python, Shell scripting, Git Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins Container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general Other Details Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Travel Required: None Telecommuting Options: Onsite Work Location: USA VA Springfield Additional Work Locations: USA MO St. Louis Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, vision plan options, 401(k) plan with company match Full flex work weeks where possible, paid time off plans (vacation, sick, personal, holidays, paid parental, military, bereavement, jury duty) Short and long-term disability benefits, life, accidental death and dismemberment, personal accident, critical illness and business travel and accident insurance Security Clearance Must currently possess Top Secret/SCI clearance.
