Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, initiating diagnostic tests, and crafting personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and treating acute, ongoing, or episodic health issues alongside physicians or independently (based on your credentials)
• Providing vital education to patients and their families on wellness, preventive care, and disease management
• Prescribing medication and therapies authorized by your practice scope

• Recording thoroughly and accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Criteria

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in New Jersey
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days)
