Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for patients during the designated shift, applying the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Prescribe and coordinate nursing care based on the medical plan of care, incorporating input from patients and families.
- Collaborate with physicians and the broader health care team to deliver coordinated care across patient populations as assigned by unit needs.
- Incorporate teaching and discharge planning into the overall plan of care for patients and families.
- Delegate appropriate tasks to other nursing staff based on current clinical competence and scope of practice.
- This position is represented by CNA.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts (36 hours per week) and adapt to unit needs
- Demonstrated ability to apply the nursing process for patients across age groups as assigned by the unit
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with the health care team and families
- Willingness to participate in patient teaching and discharge planning
- Travel nursing assignment experience is a plus
