Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years pediatric experience required. License: Valid California RN License required. Certifications: BLS, PALS required; APHON preferred. Must-Have: - Prior travel experience - EPIC experience - Willingness to float to PICU/NICU Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatrics. The primary position will be within the Pediatrics unit. Experience in pediatric nursing is mandatory. The role may require floating to PICU and NICU as needed. Candidates should have experience in administering blood products and chemotherapy. Support for breastfeeding and managing ports are crucial skills. Daily responsibilities include monitoring chemotherapy and managing chest tubes. Nurses will be involved in caring for patients with a variety of pediatric diagnoses. Experience with oncology patients is valuable. The unit provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support. Candidates should be comfortable with pediatric dosage calculations.
