The Installer is responsible for installing parts and equipment for the Thermo King dealership. Essential Functions: Install new and used Thermo King equipment by following established processes and procedures. Ensure each install is consistent with the next and meets the install standard and customer’s needs. Diagnose issues with re-installed equipment using EDITH diagnostic software. Perform PMs such as oil changes and inspections. Complete work orders with all required information according to service policy. Communicate effectively with customers. Maintain a high level of cleanliness. Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma or GED required. Technical degree or certification is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills. Problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong mechanical aptitude. Clean driving record. Pass a DOT approved physical. Work with common hand tools as well as scissor lifts and forklifts. Work comfortably on a ladder. Must have own set of basic hand tools and toolbox.
