Job Summary:
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Chandler, Arizona. This role involves providing specialized care to telemetry patients, including reading and interpreting strips, titrating cardiac drips, and caring for patients awaiting hospital beds. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Chandler, Arizona
• Shift: 12-hour shifts (7 a.m. 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. 7 a.m.), with the ability to self-schedule; schedule may change periodically
• Schedule: 36 hours per week minimum, includes four weekend shifts in a four-week schedule and coverage for two of four major holidays
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification; NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification through AHA or APEX; minimum of 2 years of recent recent tele/critical care experience, particularly with cardiac patients; ability to read and interpret electrocardiogram (ECG) strips; experience with titrating cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone; proficient in caring for cardiac telemetry patients.
• Preferred Qualifications: Strong cardiac telemetry background; recent hospital experience within the past 6 months.
• Additional Information: Must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours through RELIAS (maximum of 2 attempts); participate in a pass/fail simulation lab on day one of orientation; floating to med/surg/telemetry units and overflow EDs as needed; unit-specific orientation for two shifts at the primary campus; no ventilator management required; no monitor tech in the ED; RN responsibilities may include assisting with vital signs, IV starts, and medication administration, but not primary patient management in the ED.
