About the Role Reporting to the Health Service Manager, you will be a key part of building capability across the hospital. You will:
- Lead orientation, induction and onboarding for new staff
- Deliver mandatory training and clinical skills assessments
- Provide engaging education across diverse clinical environments
- Support staff transitioning into rural and regional healthcare
- Develop and deliver education aligned with LHD priorities
- Build strong relationships across clinical teams and health services
- Contribute to staff confidence, development and retention
- Current AHPRA registration, or eligibility for registration, as a Registered Nurse
- Relevant postgraduate clinical or education qualifications, such as a Graduate Certificate
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
- Experience delivering education or Train the Trainer programs, including Basic Life Support
- Strong communication, facilitation and organisational skills
- Understanding of SDPR and mandatory training requirements
- Essential: AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and hold relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications
- Essential: Current Workplace Training and Assessment Cert IV or willing to work towards
- Shape education and workforce development across the hospital
- Support staff to grow their skills and confidence
- Help strengthen onboarding and staff retention
- Work across a diverse range of clinical services
