Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Telemetry Travel Nurse – Wisconsin

Start Date: January 4, 2027

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), weekends and holidays as needed. Patient ratios 1:4 days, 1:5 nights and weekends. 24 hours of orientation provided.

• Float pool position across multiple Med/Surg and Intermediate Care units including cardiac, spine, neuro, and oncology specialties
• Care for complex adult patient populations utilizing evidence-based practice in a world-renowned academic health system
• Epic EMR system utilized across all units
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
• 13-week travel assignment with robust team collaboration and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact license required
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last 3 years in Med/Surg specialty
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Demonstrated experience working across multiple Med/Surg units including cardiac, spine, and neuro
• Epic EMR experience required
• Basic arrhythmia and cardiac telemetry experience required; must pass facility telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to start (80% overall with 100% identification of lethal rhythms)
• Willingness to float to neuro and oncology units as assigned
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
