Pediatric PACU RN - Day Shift with PTO & Tuition Assistance

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Cardiac Monitoring, Circulate, Pediatric, Presurgical assessment, Robotic surgery, Transplant, or Wound & drain care. Shift(s) available: day shift Job types available: full time, part time, and per diem Employer features: Cross training, Medical, PTO Qualifications ADN or higher degree in nursing Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license BLS, ACLS, PALS certification preferred 1+ years of experience in pediatrics as well as a PACU, ICU, or similar high‑acuity setting preferred Experience with pediatric medical equipment and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of healthcare professionals, children, and families Responsibilities Provide immediate post‑operative care to pediatric surgical patients, monitoring vital signs, and managing symptoms of anesthesia Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home Educate young patients and their families on post‑operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures Benefits Healthcare coverage: Medical, Dental, Vision 401K Paid Time Off Tuition Assistance Salary: $70,000 to $100,000 /year #J-18808-Ljbffr Incredible Health
